PE Kit Policy

Years 1 - 6

Pupils should come to school wearing school PE kit on their PE day only. If they have Swimming they should bring this with them in a separate bag. Pupils should have water with them for every PE lesson.

For outside lessons, pupils will not be allowed to take part if they do not have sufficient water with them

PE Kit/Water Sanctions

Pupils should be sanctioned if they forget their Water and/or PE kit, including swimming (unless they have a note from parents/doctor to excuse them)

Each new term pupils have a fresh start in terms of their kit/water sanctions.

 

1st time = Lose a dojo point, do not take part in PE

2nd time = Lose a dojo point, do not take part in PE

3rd time = Lose a dojo point, do not take part in PE, report to Head of PE, parents contacted

3+ = Report to head of department and parents will be contacted

 

 

Swimming Kit

• Swim shorts/trunks/swimming costume

• A towel

• Flip flops/pool shoes

• All children must wear a swimming hat. Sanctions for forgetting Swim at are:

  • 1st time = lose a dojo point and borrow a hat

  • 2nd time = lose a dojo point and borrow a hat

  • 3rd time + = miss swimming + report to head of department. Parents will be contacted
